It’s Official: Entourage Season 7 to Debut this June

HBO announced today that you can now mark in the date for the return of Entourage on your calendar. Come June 27, 2010 we’re off for another dozen episodes with Vinny, Ari, E, Drama and Turtle.

Even though I’m a little skeptical about just what else Vinny Chase and his gang can get into, I will be tuning in. A few months ago, we ironed out a wish-list of sorts for the seventh season. While I thought the show neatly tied up all storylines at the end of Season 6, we thankfully care enough about the characters to see them go through another season of “drama,” no pun intended.

However, with six seasons under the belt (2 of which were great, the others just ‘ok’), Entourage is now getting a little long in the tooth and showing it’s age. I’m really hoping that they just go back to the basics and make the show fun again. That means no movies named Medellin and no crazy girls named Ashley. But, at the very least, we’re still in for some classic one liners from Ari and Drama, you can count on that.

Entourage returns to HBO Sunday, June 27th at 10:30pm.

It's been a while since we said hello to Vince (Adrian Grenier) and the gang on HBO's Entourage, and when the boys (and Lloyd) return on June 27 for its seventh season, it's more girls, cars and Hollywood.

'Entourage' Season 6 Wrap-up

Entourage season 7 news are quite scarce at this point, aside from the fact that - gasp! - Vince (and Adrian) has cut his hair! The gang was spotted filming recently outside of the Urth Cafe in Beverly Hills.

Also, Piven, who previously revealed that Ari may be getting into sports/sports ownership come season 7, tweeted that he's back on the set of Entourage season 7 early this month, which means everything looks good to go for the HBO Sunday staple.

Bob Saget will also reportedly return, while John Stamos and Kobe Bryant are the first celebrities to allegedly drop by. Poker pros Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari and Alec Torelli are also onboard for a poker scene in the upcoming season.

When we left off the boys of Entourage in early October last year, Vince was heading to Italy to film his next movie, Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) was dealing with Jamie-Lynn Sigler long distance relationship drama, E (Kevin Connolly) was proposing to Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui), and Drama (Kevin Dillon) had trouble accepting the fact that he couldn't act to save his life (besides, Melrose Place is almost good as canceled).

On the Ari (Jeremy Piven) and Lloyd (Rex Lee) side of things, Ari was all set to buy out Terrance's agency, until encountering a hiccup in the form of a little clause: that TMA retains its name, of which egotist Ari would hear nothing. Lloyd, meanwhile, got promoted to a real agent.
